THE WORLDWIDE GOLD STANDARD
FOR TATTOO REMOVAL
Le laser MedLite, le plus efficace des procédés de détatouage

Decorative tattoos have a history dating back at least 5000 years. The desire to remove them has probably existed for just as long.

There are multiple reasons which can arouse the desire to remove a tattoo, whether it is professional, amateur, cosmetic or ritual:

  • Professional constraints
  • Embarrassment in the social life
  • Change of taste or lifestyle
  • Identity crisis
  • Feeling tired
  • Old-fashioned, poorly made tattoo, faded in time or badly located on the body
  • Lax ageing skin
  • Desire of replacement of the original tattoo by a new one (also known as "Cover Up")

Early attempts to remove tattoos have had less than desirable results. The use of surgical excision, dermabrasion, salabrasion, or epidermis photovaporization with Argon or CO2 lasers have left behind scars in place of tattoos.

The advent of Q-Switched ("short pulse") lasers has permitted the removal of most tattoo inks with a very low risk of scarring. In particular, the American made MedLite® lasers quickly became the laser of choice in this class, given its high performances. MedLite® lasers are the most used Q-Switched lasers worldwide today. They have acquired a solid reputation of reliability and efficacy.

RevLite®, a next generation of Q-Switched laser, can also be found in leading aesthetic laser centres throughout Europe / UK.

Tattoo removal, which is a purely aesthetic procedure, is not generally reimbursed by health insurances. During the initial appointment with your doctor, an assessment is made and a price estimate is established upon inquiry.
